In order to decrease costs and increase electrical connector's production capability, DDK LTD. asked for one-time fabrication using a Double Cavity Mold and at the same time adding three holes on the circular connectors. All of the Japanese mold designers thought that was impossible at that time. To meet the request, Accucision Diecast engineers spent days to design a suitable double cavity mould.

In the end, Accucision Diecast engineers added three inner sliding blocks on the mold to meet the hole requirement on the circular connectors. DDK LTD. was thrilled and surprised to see the result of the circular connectors, which met their requirements and the quality, was excellent. After testing and confirming the mould and connector quality, DDK LTD. ordered more than 70,000 electrical connectors in four months to make up for the shortage from previous months.
